Jon Bernstein Recognized for his 27 years of service to the Elizabeth Peabody House

The Somerville City Council gave a citation at its Thursday evening meeting to Jon Bernstein for his 27 years of service to the Elizabeth Peabody House and his quarter century-plus of volunteer work with Somerville Pop Warner youth football and Little League baseball.

The Citation was endorsed by Councilor-at-Large Mary Jo Rossetti and Ward 4 Councilor Jesse Clingan and co-signed by the entire Council and the Mayor. It was a very nice ceremony and I want to thank everyone for recognizing my friend and fellow coach.

Jon is retiring and moving back to his native Charlotte, North Carolina.
