Next week there will be a public hearing on fiscal year 2019 water and sewer rates. The FY19 rates represent no increase in water volumetric charges, a 5% increase in sewer volumetric charges, and the creation of a fire suppression charge for customers with fire service lines. At the Monday, May 14, public hearing there will be an information session and Q&A from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the hearing starting at 6:30. During the hearing portion of the meeting, residents can provide testimony on the rates. Anyone with additional questions can stick around after the hearing to talk with staff.
Written testimony will also be accepted through noon Friday, May 18. Please note that mailed testimony must be postmarked by noon on May 18:
