Two Somerville sisters, Judy and Nancy Medeiros, who are two of the hearts and souls of the organization, “Somerville Overcoming Addiction” who have be icons in the City of Somerville, looking out for our citizen’s and their children’s health and well being for years.

These two sisters, on a mission, saving lives by spreading the word and educating the public on the dangers of addiction via awareness throughout the city and beyond.

These two wonderful women were also recently recognized at the Fenway Park EMC Club and awarded the Shinning Star Award from the “Accelerated Cure Project” (ACP) for their MS Fundraiser’s to benefit MS research.

The Medeiros sister’s host the “Annual Edmund Mederios Foundation Fundraiser” that donates its proceeds to benefit research for MS for over the past 18 years.

They are both shining stars and true unsung hero’s within our community that are made up of the same caring fabric of dedication that makes Somerville one of the greatest cities on the planet.
