Somerville Public Works Employees Get A Citation For A Job Well Done

This past Thursday night, the Somerville Board of Aldermen and Mayor offered their sincerest commendations with a citation presented to Union President iEd Halloran in behalf of the Public Works Employees Who Clear Snow

 

The citation was presented at Thursday night’s Somerville Board of Alderman meeting in the aldermanic chambers of City Hall. 
The citation read:

 Be it hereby known to all that the
For their dedication, professionalism and expertise in clearing streets and walkways to maintain public safety.

In Greater Boston, storm after storm, no one’s public ways are plowed and shoveled better than Somerville’s.

 

The Membership and Mayor extend their sincerest gratitude and best wishes for continued success in all endeavors.

 

Offered this 23rd day of March, 2017.

  1. Are you kidding me ? Do you realize how much money in taxes WE pay for this service done my the Mayors Nephews , cousins friends of friends cousins …..comeon paalease . I mean like always they did a remarkable job that OUR money OVERLY paid . And not to them (the dpw workers ). SO i await change like so many . Because all of these crooked people will pay . For now we pay the mayors 150000 a year salary but soon i hope he gets audited. How does that work anyway? Oh yeah i memba……

  2. Congrats public works people for getting the award. Since in 2015 when they plowed that year one of the worst storms in a long time Stan Koty said and I quote you guys suck at plowing and need to go back to plowing school. In your face Stan
