Senator Sal DiDomenico recently met with members of the Trauma and Learning Policy Initiative (TLPI), a joint program of Harvard Law School and the Massachusetts Advocates for Children (MAC). They spoke about the importance of keeping our school environment safe and creating an environment that allows all children to learn. Senator DiDomenico has been a longtime supporter and advocate and he joined forces with TLPI to establish a statewide “safe and supportive schools framework” to assist schools by creating safe and supportive learning environments that improve educational outcomes for students. He has been the Senate leader of this initiative and has secured funds each year in the state budget to ensure its success.
