Tufts Women’s Basketball Team Receives Citation From City

   
 
The Tufts women’s basketball team recently received citations from the city of Somerville for their successful season. The Jumbos competed in their first-ever Division III NCAA title game in early April at the Indiana Pacers arena in Indianapolis, falling to defending champion Thomas More College. 

Tufts sophomore Melissa Baptista, a Somerville native and Somerville High School graduate, received a citation as a member of the Tufts women’s basketball team. Baptista and the Jumbos competed in their first-ever Division III NCAA title game in early April at the Indiana Pacers arena in Indianapolis, falling to defending champion Thomas More College.
