The Tufts women’s basketball team recently received citations from the city of Somerville for their successful season. The Jumbos competed in their first-ever Division III NCAA title game in early April at the Indiana Pacers arena in Indianapolis, falling to defending champion Thomas More College.
Tufts sophomore Melissa Baptista, a Somerville native and Somerville High School graduate, received a citation as a member of the Tufts women’s basketball team.
