7th Annual Inspiration Celebration Benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs in Somerville and Medford to Be Held on May 4, 2016

   
 
 

Somerville, MA – The 2016 Inspiration Celebration benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middlesex County – with Clubs in Medford and Somerville, MA – will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 6pm to 9pm at the Center for Arts at the Armory at 191 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA. Tickets are $75 per person and are still available for purchase online at http://www.kidsclubs.org or by calling our offices at (617) 764-5958.

 

The 7th Annual Inspiration Celebration will recognize the individuals and groups who embody the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs – to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as caring, productive and responsible citizens. The Clubs serve the youth most in need; over 75% of Club members are from low-income households. Membership dues are no more than $30 per child, per year, for any child who wants to attend.

The event is a cocktail party with live music and food by Salvatore’s Medford Square and 7ate9 Bakery. There will be two raffles and a silent auction featuring New England team sports tickets, hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates and more.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Middlesex County’s Clubs in Medford and Somerville are safe and positive places for over 350 youth aged 6-18 after school and during the summer each year. The after-school programs in our Clubs provide safe, fun and educational environments where children and teens spend their afternoons learning and growing. We strive to provide a Club experience that assures that success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors. Our daily programs in Education, Career Exploration, Healthy Lifestyles, The Arts, Leadership and Sports and Recreation, create new opportunities, experiences and help develop lasting, positive friendships.
