The City of Somerville celebrated its International Family Equality Day LGBT Festival in Seven Hills Park on Sunday afternoon.
The well attended event was enjoyed by all with mild spring temperatures making it a perfect day.
The event was a day of celebration where people came together to celebrate International Family Equality Day for the first time in Somerville.
This day was a day to celebrate family equality, highlighting LGBTQ families and their allies.
Their performers for the day included Karen K and the Jitterbugs, Matt Heaton, Big Joe the Storyteller and Professor TEA.
There was also face painting, arts and crafts and field day games.
Fabulous food trucks, Penny Packers, Tenoch Mexican and Scoop and Scootery, was on-site as well as Professor TEA- along with a dance party.
