BOSTON (April 7, 2015)- During April vacation, which starts on Patriots Day,
April 20 and runs through Sunday, April 26, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston will have a special Boston Marathon installation in MINILAND to commemorate the 119th running of the iconic event.
In addition, to celebrate the creativity of playing with LEGO® bricks, during the month of April they are hosting a search for their 2015 Creative Crew, a group of young builders who will be assistants to the Master Model Builder for a year, attend events and be the first to test new rides and games. Creative Crew submissions will be accepted through April 27 online through LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston’s Facebook page.
Visitors will also be able to check out the brand new LEGO® Ninjago Training Camp which opened in March. The LEGO® Ninjago Training Camp includes a new laser maze and LEGO Ninjago-themed hands-on interactive stations based on the popular LEGO® line. This immersive training camp allows visitors the chance to test and improve their Ninja skills in the quest to join Sensei Wu’s elite team.
The LEGO® Model Builder Academy, which hosts workshops throughout the day, will feature a UFO build where visitors can explore their intergalactic creativity and learn to build from the Master Model Builder and his team.
