Somerville Community Access Television seeks video submissions for its 5th Rough Cut Media Screening event on Monday, January 26th from 7-9pm at the Armory cafe.

About: Rough Cut is free and open to all media makers who have a video work-in-progress. It’s a safe space meant for social networking and constructive feedback on a project. Past screenings have included: animations, TV show episodes, narrative fiction, documentary, mockumentary, experimental, music videos, and more. Ultimately, you can take or leave the feedback but it can be quite helpful in moving forward with one’s project.

You can also come to solely enjoy people’s videos for the sake of pure enjoyment! No film degree is required, it is meant to be a fun way to showcase people’s work and/or just watch creative videos.

Submission info: Have this be a test run to polish up your video work for other future submissions to festivals and such. Videos must be under 5-minutes. Please fill out this form.

Have your project exported (to a quicktime .mov file) and digitally delivered to Erica Jones by January 22nd. You can use wetransfer.com, drop off the file on a thumbdrive or dropbox. If you have any questions, please contact Erica Jones at ejones@scatvsomerville.org.
