Hevan Patel will be opening the first Which Wich restaurant in the Boston area, located at 410 Artisan Way in
Somerville, MA on January 5, 2014. Which Wich is best known for its customizable sandwiches, creative ordering system, and personalized sandwich bag. Patel signed a 2-unit deal, and will look to reach 5-10 restaurants in the greater Boston area over time.
Hevan also own a convenient store in New Bedford, MA with his family, and was drawn to Which Wich because of the growth opportunity and ability to operate as another family run business in the area. Before working in this family business, Hevan worked in medical sales after receiving his degree in biotechnology at Northeastern University.
In addition to Somerville, Which Wich Superior Sandwiches has plans to add 5 to 10 new locations in the greater Boston area in the next 2 years. Each location creates approximately 25 jobs, so they’re looking at adding as many as 250 jobs by the end of 2016.
The Which Wich brand, based in Dallas, is one of the hottest sandwich concepts in the market with QSR magazine naming them one of their “2014 Best Franchise Deals” in the July issue’s special report, and Forbes listing Which Wich as one of their “30 Best Franchises To Buy” in the June 16th issue.
