Some exciting events in the coming weeks:

Ongoing Art Exhibit beginning Monday,
January 27th through Friday, February 21st. View pastel portraits and micro-biographies of nine of Somerville’s older adults done by local artist Nancy Hall Brooks at the Holland Street Center,
M-F 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, February 6th: Diabetes Patient Educates Peers on Taking Control of the Disease, Holland Street Center, 167 Holland Street. Patient Kirk Kenyon knows first-hand the challenges and obstacles to maintaining control of diabetes. Come hear his practical and inspiration presentation at 10 a.m. After the presentation, there is time for one-on-one counseling and education.

Friday, February 14th. SUPER BINGO at Holland Street Center.

Wednesday, Feburary 19th: Grandparents Day. This year’s theme is “Growing and Learning Together.” All children will have the opportunity to bring home their own plant and watch it grow. Special kid-friendly BINGO and lunch also on the program. Reservations required. Call Janine Lotti at 617-625-6600, ext. 2300 to register or for more information.

Zumba for All with Cheryl – at Holland – Wednesdays at 5:15 – 6:15 $3 or $15 for 6 classes. Come at the end of the day, after work – open to all.
Strengthening Exercise with Geoff – Tuesdays at 9:15 Holland and 9:30 Thursdays at R&J $3

LBT Women Fit-4-Life Fitness and Nutrition Classes. Tuesday and Thursday evenings. $10 a month with scholarships available.

Ralph & Jenny Center Events

Ralph and Jenny Center will be open four days a week (Mon-Thurs) beginning Monday, January 27th!

Cards and Games hour at Ralph & Jenny at 10:00 am every day the center is open (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). Come join your friends or make some new ones. Cards, Scrabble and Cribbage.

Do you crochet or would you like to learn? Thursdays at 10:45 am. At Ralph & Jenny Center. Join a great group in learning to crochet or share your projects you are working on.

Strengthening Exercises with Geoff. 9:30 a.m. every Tuesday.

BINGO every day at 12:45.

Cross Street Center Events:
Center open every Tuesday and Wednesday.

English Conversation group meets every Tuesday morning at 9:30 and Wednesday morning at 10:30. All welcome.
