Today, the Somerville Police Superiors and Patrolmen’s Unions—joined by our partners in the Somerville Firefighters Local 76 Union and DPW Union—presented the Mystic Learning Center with checks to support the Somerville Police Community Affairs Unit’s 5th Annual Turkey Drive.

Thanks to the generosity and teamwork of our unions, over 60 local families will enjoy full Thanksgiving meals this year. Members from each union came together with the Somerville Court’s Probation Department and the Mystic Learning Center to pack up turkeys and all the fixings, then deliver them directly to families in need.

It was a great day of service, partnership, and community pride. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who steps up year after year to support our neighbors and make this tradition possible.
