Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,
Just a heads up that if you’re planning on walking down Broadway towards Sullivan Square today you’ll have to walk through several areas where sidewalks have been removed, exposing uneven ground and raised manholes.
Once you get to Level 4, the Level’s boss is this mysterious, warm, smelly ground steam caused by apparently pumping “dangerously” hot water into the void undernearth. The strategy is to walk as far into Broadway traffic as safely possible to minimize the HP damage done by being enveloped in the stream.
Don’t walk too far around the mystery steam though. Broadway’s drivers are notoriously aggressive and having their vision obscured by plumes of ground stream only makes them drive more wrecklessly. A collision with Broadway car will zero out your HP and you’ll be forced to start from your last checkpoint.
For real though, can we get an actual working pedestrian detour or even a police detail around here. It’s hard enough for an able bodied person to walk around here at the moment. Unfortunately, I dont really see how a person with limited mobility would.
