Somerville PD vs Somerville FD Annual“Guns And Hoses” Charity Hockey Game

On Friday March 21st The Somerville Police Department faced off against the Somerville Fire Department in the annual “Guns And Hoses” charity hockey game. The Boston Bruin’s own Todd Angilly sang the National Anthem. The ceremonial puck drop was conducted by the Police Department’s Chief Shumeane Benford.

The Somerville Police Blue Liners kept it close, scoring first, and not giving up a goal until almost 15 minutes into the game. The Fire Department was victorious in the end, winning 6 to 1. A combined $7500 was raised for Somerville Youth Hockey and the Somerville Blueliners High School organization!
