Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Joseph MacInnes, beloved son of Ernest MacInnes of Somerville and the late Irene (Chartrand) MacInnes.

Danny was a lifelong resident of Somerville where he grew up surrounded by many cousins and friends who were an important part of his life.

He was a cherished brother to Deborah Leavitt and her husband Jack Leavitt of Winchester, Margaret (“Princess”) MacInnes of Charlestown and Thomas MacInnes of Tewksbury. Daniel was preceded in death by his brothers Ernest Michael MacInnes and Kevin Scott MacInnes, his beloved grandmother Margaret Chartrand and his Aunt Helen Marshall.

Daniel leaves behind his friend and cousin Sharon Lyons of Meredith, NH and several loving nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

Daniel found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, especially spending time with his loving family and fishing. Danny will always be remembered for his incredible sense of humor, his kindness along with his unwavering courage in the face of adversity.

Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Sunday, December 15th from 2:00PM ~ 5:00PM. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

A private burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
