Obituary
Mary Ann Carroll, of Arlington and formerly of Somerville, passed away on November 14, 2024, she was 82. Born and raised in Somerville Mary was the cherished daughter of the late Shirley R. (Smith) and George Allen Carroll. A graduate of Somerville High School, she proudly served in the Peace Corps.

Her service began in Washington, DC and then went on to serve two tours in Chile. Prior to her retirement, Mary was an intake receptionist for Bank of America assisting clients and coworkers at several area branches.

Mary was the devoted mother of Daniel Colin McClure of California and grandmother of Madeline, Dominic and Aria. Dear sister of Linda Curran and her husband Thomas of Sudbury and the late Susan R. McKenzie and her surviving husband Bruce of Medford. She is further survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, a private burial will take place at Cambridge Cemetery at a later date.
