Obituary
Bernard Semexant, of Lynn, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2024, following a long life focused on faith and family. He was 61 years old.
Born and raised in Tabarre, Haiti, was the son of Vicksemon Semexant and Liliane(Soiant) Mathieu. After completing his secondary studies at Lycee Toussaint, Bernard moved to the United States in 1988.
He attended Bunker Hill College and worked at Newton- Wellesley Hospital for many years. In 2001, he started his own business of Property Management holding an impressive investment portfolio throughout Massachusetts, Florida and Haiti.
A man of profound faith, Bernard allowed his spirituality to guide him through life. He was known for his love of family, with his beloved Mother, Lilliane and his cousin Marie Marthe Joseph, holding a special place in his heart.
When he wasn’t immersed in church activities, Bernard could be found tending to his properties, a
testament to his passion for business. Other pastimes he loved included traveling, watching soccer and spending time with his family.
Bernard will be missed by all for his unwavering love, wisdom, and joy.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Holy Bible Baptist Church 64 College Ave, Somerville MA at 8:00AM. Please meet directly at church.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855
Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
Services will conclude with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery , Lynn MA .
