MEDEIROS, William A. “Willie” – Born and raised in Somerville and a lifelong resident, June 26, 2024. Beloved Son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Medeiros.

Willie was a deeply rooted and active member of the Somerville community. His involvement in local sports, such as football at Somerville High School, and his dedication to community events and political engagement highlight his commitment to his hometown. Being a member of the recreational department and the condo board association at Somerville City Hall shows his ongoing contribution to improving and maintaining the local community. His love for Somerville and his active participation in various facets of community life make his memory one that will be cherished by many.

Loving brother of Robert Medeiros of Houston, TX, Theresa “Terri” Medeiros of Somerville, the late Susan and Daniel Medeiros.

Dear uncle of Christopher and his wife Christine, Briana and Kendra. Cherished great uncle of Maya, Lily, Tiana, Troy and Brynnly.

Visiting hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, Tuesday evening July 9th from 4:00 – 6:30, with a family service beginning at 6:30 to 7:00pm.

Relatives and friends invited.

Interment private.

Willie was the past president of the Somerville Highschool Football Teams Grid Iron Club, a member of the Recreation Department, he was also involved in Somerville politics and a member of the City of Somerville Condominium Association.
