Somerville/Medford Remembering Michele Rae (Chute) Goode

Michele Rae (Chute) Goode – of Somerville, died unexpectedly, August 19th, at fifty- six years of age.

Michele was born to proud parents, the late Alfred J. Chute Sr. and Patricia A. Silvestri in Los Angeles, CA on July 22, 1966. After moving to Somerville in 1967 she became the oldest of 3 siblings, a younger sister and 2 brothers. While being raised in the West Somerville area she attended and eventually graduated Somerville High Class of 1984. She then went on to join the Army Reserves.

After returning home she married in 1986 and started a family resulting in 3 beautiful boys. While raising her boys she was co-owner of the Futon Outlet . She shared her love for sports by mentoring and coaching both her children and nephews little league teams.

Michele was an adventurous, independent and spontaneous individual. She grew to love photography, attending School of Photography and continued a long career touching many lives through her art. She loved traveling and checking off her bucket list. Her true love and passion were her kids and her grandson, Dominick. She will be missed by many.

Proud mother of David Goode, Christian Goode, Joshua Goode and daughter in law Zahra Goode, Loving grandmother of Dominic “Dom” Philips. Caring stepmother of Christine Goode, Tammy Goode, Jennifer Goode and Billy Goode. Dear sibling to Stephanie Chute of Revere, Al Chute Jr. of Burlington, and the late Michael Chute. Half sister of Brian Dobson of Georgia. Step daughter of Richard Gallison of Medford. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Calling hours on Thursday, evening August 25th, in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn from 6-8 p.m. Interment is private.
