MBTA Orange and Green Line Closure Information

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority – MBTA is closing the entire Orange Line and part of the Green Line for one month. Closures start this Friday, August 19. Get ready and stay informed:

– Alternative travel options will include free shuttle buses, enhanced commuter rail service, accessible vans, and free Bluebikes passes.
– Visit mbta.com/bbt2022 for all shutdown information, or email olt@mbta.com with questions.
– Find your best route using the MBTA Trip Planner at mbta.com/trip-planner.
– Sign up for MBTA text or email alerts at alerts.mbta.com.

hmmm…after the “repairs” are made to the Orange Line, you can bet your life (pun?!) I’ll be hauling a fire extinguisher and life preserver with me at all times…
