Somerville Remembering Concetta J. “Tina” (DeLuca) Lucey

Our sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Concetta J. “Tina” (DeLuca) Lucey on her passing.

Mrs. Concetta J. “Tina” (DeLuca) Lucey, of Somerville and formerly of East Boston, passed away on Thursday, March 18th. She was the beloved wife of 59 years to the late Daniel H. Lucey, together they were active and devoted members of St. Anthony Parish, Somerville.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Enrico and Italia Giovanna (Cassiani) DeLuca, her late brothers Salvatore, Amedeo (Babe), Enrico, and John, and sisters Mary (Stepanian) and Ann (Defilippo).
She was the cherished and devoted mother of Judith M. Lucey of Somerville, David J. Lucey and his wife Gail of Brookline and Barbara A. Phillips and her husband Ron of Somerville and further survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Square) Somerville on Thursday, March 25th at 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, Somerville at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Registration for Mass is required, please contact the church at https://saintanthonysomerville.com/ or by calling the rectory at 617-625-4530.
Calling Hours will be held Wednesday, March 24th in the funeral home from 4PM – 7PM. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, interior capacity of the funeral home is limited to 50 people inside at any given time. We respectfully ask you to please pay your respects and then exit to allow others to do the same. Face masks and social distancing protocols are required for all services.
Services will conclude with burial at the Cambridge Cemetery.
