This Sunday early evening, a lightning strike struck a house that ignited a fire on Munroe Street..
According to Somerville Firefighters Local 76 “ During the height of tonight’s storm, the SFD fought a 2nd Alarm Fire at 36 Munroe St. First arriving companies encountered smoke showing from the roof and heavy fire was found in the ceiling on the top floor. Group 2 was working.
