Somerville Speakup Line: Neidergang Has Made Life Miserable for People Due to His Own Interests

Dear Billy T and Somerville Speakup Line,

Morning rush hour at Temple, Broadway and School. So here is some more ammo to help that old guy holding a sign everyday with his cane. F#%& Neidergang. He has made life miserable for people due to his own interests.

  1. There is no such thing as a rush hour in Somerville unless you are cutting down side streets. Such as those passing through to get to the other side of the city.

Broadway is constantly backed up as a direct result of the second travel lane removal. Cars backup on Temple turning onto Broadway, on Broadway turning onto School due to the single lane causing Broadway to backup on both sides.

In an effort to move buses quicker and bikes to ride in the street you are creating more pollution and compromising public safety. Residents cannot park near there homes. Business customers, moving and deliveries to certain homes and businesses have been negatively impacted.

These changes should not have been implemented until the green line is completed. The green line extension will have a major impact on bus use minimizing the number of runs on a daily basis.

The most unfortunate part of this plan is the residents and businesses have been denied a say. So much for representing the people and allowing public input.
