Margaret was a lovely lady with a wonderful personality who kept everyone smiling at the Faulkner Towers Apartment Complex where she was adored by everyone.

MARGARET’S OBITUARY
Margaret A. “Peggy” (Kennedy) McDaid – 76, Of Somerville passed away after a brief illness on October 19, 2019.
Beloved wife of Anthony McDaid. Cherished mother of Timothy, Kathryn, Matthew McDaid and his wife Stacy all of Medford and the late Kellie McDaid. Loving grandmother of Max Costa, Emily, Kathryn, Dillon, Grace McDaid and Haleigh Doane. Dear sister of Matthew Kennedy, Marylou Toomey and the late Sheila Tobin. Also survived by her niece Nancy Enos and nephew Timothy Toomey.
Peggy was a lifelong resident of Somerville, who was married to her loving husband for 57 years. Mom loved growing up on Beacon St. and then raising her children in her childhood home surrounded by all our friends and neighbors. Mom’s most joyous times were spent with her grandchildren and her extended family.
She was an avid reader who had a quick wit and a laugh that would light up a room. She was fortunate enough to have visited Ireland and The Cliffs of Moher held a special place in her heart. She was loved by all who met her and left a lasting impression on those she loved.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours in St, Joseph Church 262 Washington St. (Union Sq.) Somerville, Thursday morning from 10-11 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock.
Interment is private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Margaret’s name to The Ryan Harrington Foundation, P.O. Box 45707, Somerville, MA 02145.
