This week companies are rotating through MBTA Bus training being led by MBTA Instructors and Mechanics.

The training included a presentation on the current fleet of buses and their emergency procedures, as well as a hands on practical with safely lifting a bus with air bags and cribbing to extricate a victim.

Somerville has a number of bus routes running the length of the city and the majority of the different model buses in the fleet pass through the Sullivan Square area on the Somerville/Charlestown line.
