Jason Fucile, a life long Somerville resident and a Somerville High School graduate of the class of 1999.
Jason is married to his lovely wife Nancy, whose family owns and runs one of Somerville’s most popular landmarks, Victor’s Deli in Ball Square.
Jason has worked for the Somerville Department of Public Works in the Highway Department for many years until 2015 taking on a new career at victor’s deli with his new wife.
His new career allows him to spend more time with his wife, his newborn child, Gianni as well as more time with the friendly local patrons, many of who he has known his entire life that he considers part of his extended family who also frequent the popular deli on a daily basis.
Recently, Jason was very instrumental in relaying the message across the airwaves on major news stations that even though the Ball Square Bridge is closed and regardless what the signage on Route 93 reads (Ball Square Closed), Jason made the world aware that Ball Square is open for business.
Jason is a great guy with a smile that lights up the restaurant when he sees you and he’s always one of the first ones in line when it comes to helping his community.
We here at the Somerville News Weekly salute you for everything that you do to make Somerville a better place.
Congratulations!
