Somerville April 22: Campaign Finance Seminar for New Political Candidates


This one-hour class will help prospective political candidates develop a better understanding of campaign finance law as they consider their campaigns. The seminar starts at 6 p.m. at the Central Library. Though geared towards first-time candidates, all are welcome to attend, no appointment necessary.

The City of Somerville in conjunction with the State’s Office of Campaign and Political Finance will be hosting a one hour class on Campaign Finance Monday April 22, 2019 at 6 PM in the Community Room at the Central Library 79 Highland Avenue.

The focus is primarily for new candidates and new committees however, in addition to new/current candidates and committees and their campaign Treasurers all interested parties are welcome.

The discussion will focus on general information for all candidates and understanding the requirements and restrictions of Campaign Finance Law.

You don’t need to make an appointment. Please come and receive the answers to all your questions about running for political office.
