SANTA CLAUS VISITS ON THE SOMERVILLE WATER FRONT

By William Tauro

The Winter Hill Yacht Club in Somerville hosted their Annual Children’s Christmas Party this past Sunday afternoon.

Local Somerville Children spent the afternoon playing with Alley the Alligator,
Georgia the Skunk, Tommy the Turtle and Charlie the Chinchilla, fascinating live breathing animals provided by Curious Creatures Educational Interactive Programs of Groveland Ma.

Then later on in the afternoon Santa made his grand entrance and rolled up in a bright shinny red fire engine with lights and sirens blaring away.

Each child got a chance to sit on Santa’s lap to tell jolly old Saint Nick what to put under their tree on Christmas morning.

Each child also received a specially wrapped early Christmas gift from Santa on Sunday as well.

    1. It’s native to Somerville. We put a clause in most anything around here. Usually not a good thing.
