Somerville Resident Martin Polignone Pulls Papers For Governor’s Council

Somerville’s Martin Polignone has officially pulled papers this past Friday and is exploring a run for Governor’s Council in 2018.

Martin Polignone is a long time Cobble Hill resident and advocate for the elderly and disabled.

Martin is a double graduate of Boston College with a BA and Master’s of Administrative Science.

After being a small technology business owner with contacts and travel as far as the former Soviet Union and Russian joint ventures, Martin earned his law degree and works on the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Elder Hotline and was recently appointed as a Trustee on the Somerville Affordable Housing Trust.

Martin is also a member of the Ward One Democratic Committee , a former mediator in Somerville District Court and also served in the US Coast Guard Auxillary as a staff officer.
