William Endicott Sr. was a very nice man and dedicated to our military veterans as well as to our men and women currently serving our country in the armed forces.

ENDICOTT, William F. Sr. 90, of Somerville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on January 22, 2018. Beloved husband of Rita Louise (Ralston) Endicott, the love of his life for the past 68 years. Cherished father of William Francis Endicott, Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Laconia, NH, Cheryl Ann Endicott-Ribeiro and her husband Robert Ribeiro of Somerville and Robert Charles Endicott and his wife Alison of Tewksbury. Predeceased by his mother Lillian (Heffernan) Endicott, his father William Francis Endicott and his sister Joyce Elizabeth Endicott of Somerville. Loving grandfather of William Francis Endicott, III and his wife Meghan, Briana Marie Endicott, and Robert Paul Chiminiello. Great grandfather of Mackenzie and Emerson Endicott, Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. World War II Veteran of the United Sates Navy, Railroad Engineer for the Boston & Maine/Amtrak railroad for 35 years. Member of the Post 19, DAV and Sons of Italy in Somerville, and the Irish American club in Malden. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) SOMERVILLE, Sunday 3-7. Family and friends are invited back to the Somerville City Club, Innerbelt Rd. following the service at 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in William’s memory to the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 27 located at 616 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02145.
