Somerville Remembering James D. Buckley

By William Tauro

Our sincere condolences go out to the Buckley family for the passing of James D. Buckley.

James was an awesome gentleman who was very loving and caring towards his family and many friends and was a lot of fun to be around.

He would always go that extra step to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all of his dear friends and neighbors whether it was giving them a ride or going out to dinner with them spending quality time together.

We here at The Somerville News Weekly got to know James very well over the past years over at the Winter Hill Yauht Club in Somerville where James enjoyed coming to visit during many fun senior events.

We always enjoyed great conversations with him and the many of photos that he would send to us that he would always shoot on senior field trips and outing events with the Somerville Council on Aging.

James D. Buckley will be sadly missed here in Somerville.
