Somerville Pop Warner President Roger Desrochers was recently presented an award through National Pop Warner for:
1. Male volunteer of the year in eastern Massachusetts
2. Male volunteer of the year for all of New England
A letter was submitted to the eastern ma board on Roger’s behalf and he was chosen as the male volunteer of the year for eastern ma.
The letter than got forwarded to the next round where he was Amagain chosen as male volunteer of the year for all of New England
President Roger Desrochers will be honored again on May 27,2016 at the volunteer of the year honoree banquet in Disney.
The kids from Somerville have been going to that house on Sycamore Street for years, I guess that house just produces great men that do alot for the kids of Somerville. Congratulations Roger you have always been great!!!!
This is fantastic!!!! So well deserved by such a dedicated man who gives his all to the youth of Somerville. So glad he was recognized and acknowledged!! Thank you Roger for all you do!!
The people of Somerville would LOVE to see a park or at the least a section of Foss park adorned with a dedication sign/plague reading “Roger Desrochers Jr. Field” …….
