BOSTON (April 1, 2015)- LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston announced today the search for their 2015-2016 Creative Crew.
The Creative Crew are twelve children aged 5-12 who will assist LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston Master Model Builder Ian Coffey in various tasks including building and testing new models, attending special events and being the first to test new rides and games. The Creative Crew will also serve as a “kid panel” to share tips about building models, how to get the top score on rides and other little known facts about visiting LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston.

The contest will launch tomorrow, April 2, on LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston’s Facebook page and will run through Monday, April 27. To apply, children must answer the question, “How does LEGO inspire you?” and submit a video or photo with a written answer. Submissions should also include a LEGO build that the child created. Winners will be chosen by Ian Coffey and announced on Saturday, May 2 on LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston’s Facebook page. The induction of the new Creative Crew will be held at the first anniversary celebration on Saturday, May 23.

“Last year, the Creative Crew was known as the Junior Construction Panel and we had kids from across New England who helped us open the attraction,” said Ian Coffey, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston’s Master Model Builder. “This year, we changed the name to highlight the creativity involved in what we do here at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston. We’ll be looking for the new Creative Crew to help us with new ideas for builds and giving us the kid’s perspective on visiting the attraction.”
