Obituary
In life all good things must eventually come to an end, and it is with heavy hearts that we say, we lost our beautiful Mom, Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Haker Gramolini Cronin. She instilled the sun into our hearts, and the music and the bright light that we as a family have always felt, together and apart. She went peacefully and quickly, with family at her side.

Dorothy A. (Haker) Cronin of Stoneham passed away on October 22, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Thomas Cronin and former wife of Evo Gramolini. Dorothy was a loving mother to Stephen Gramolini and his late wife Susan of Andover, Gary Gramolini and his wife Gaia of Narragansett, RI, Gail MacHenry and her husband Wayne of Stoneham, and Joel Gramolini and his life partner Judith of Meredith, NH, and former wife Nanette of Cambridge, MA. She was a cherished sister to Carolyn ‘Toochie’ Gaglione and Diane Indrisano, and was predeceased by her siblings Jim Haker, Alice O’Brien, Peggy Johnson, Charlie Haker, Willie Haker, and Jean Callahan. Dorothy was a dear grandmother to Allie Mossali and her husband CJ, Matthew Gramolini and his partner Jessica and Evan MacHenry, and a great grandmother to Mia, Ben, and Jack.

Visiting hours will be held at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.), Somerville, on Tuesday, November 4th from 11:00am to 1:30pm, followed by a Funeral Home service at 1:30.

Interment will be private.
