Obituary
Regina A. (Bahan) Vigorito, of Medford, passed away on July 31, 2025, she was 87 years of age. Born and raised in Somerville, Regina was one of seven children born to Grace (Sullivan) and George E. Bahan. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald V.A. Vigorito.
In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Regina was a Supervisor at Fidelity Investments working with Risk/Fraud Assessment for many years. She enjoyed watching all the mysteries programs on TV and was a big fan of N.C.I.S., tuning in every week. A great cook and baker, who provided delicious meals and baked goods to all who entered her home, she also loved watching cooking and gardening shows. Above all, Regina enjoyed nothing more than time spent with her family and was especially proud of her granddaughters and all their achievements.
Regina is the devoted mother of Donald S. Vigorito and his wife Paula Grenier of Malden, Stephen R. Vigorito, and Susan E. Vigorito, both of Medford. Cherished grandmother of Julia and Emily. Dear sister of Joan Larson, Joseph Bahan and John Bahan, all of Somerville and the late George, Leo and Roberta Bahan. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She leaves her loving K9 companion, Max.
Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Monday, August 4th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. A Funeral Procession will be held Tuesday morning at 8:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, Medford at 9:00AM. Services will conclude with burial beside her beloved husband at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Regina can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
