I cannot believe that it’s coming to one year that you have been gone My dearest Henry,
I think of you always and often, I miss our friendship terribly, I hope wherever you are, you are looking down on me, keeping me safe.
I love you Henry…. Forever I will love you….
Henry was more than a friend to me, He was a Father Figure, A Best Friend, A very distinguished gentleman.. And my love,.. Words cannot ever express what Henry meant to me and I cannot find the words now after finding out about his death.
I’m frozen, and I’m saddened that I could not see him one last time, I was 16 years old when I first met Henry, he being in his fifties? Of course people would stare at us, make accusations but for the record Henry treated me like his only daughter, there have been several times that Henry had come to my rescue, I was a troubled , difficult young adult but with Henry he always had my back, we would met up for movies, dinner, and at times we would go to Copley Plaza at the Quiet bar…listen the music drink club soda and talk fashion…something that Henry absolutely loved, Gucci, Eve St.Lauriant Dolce and Gabbana etc… We were an unlikely pair and that’s what made our friendship so special.
I had just spoken to him on the phone in September.
My Dearest Henry, wherever you are…please keep an eye out for me…because I need you and never stopped.
I send my condolences to Henry’s family, His son’s. Please know how much I love your father and what he meant to me.
Henry was an original… I love you Henry, Always… Daphne
Thank you for everything,
