LETTER FROM THE EDITOR: WHY IS THE SOUTH MIDDLESEX REGISTRY OF DEEDS STILL PARTIALLY SHUT DOWN? MARIA IS USING TAXPAYERS!

By William Tauro

Does anybody know when the Registry of Deeds will be fully opened again on Cambridge Street? We know that the Covid19 Pandemic work remote at home was in 2019 but some took advantage of the situation and milked it and made it last at until the end of 2021, but for God sakes it’s 2023 and Maria is taking us all for a ride!

Maria Curtatone who just happens to be our South Middlesex Registrar of Deeds is taking everybody for a ride on the taxpayer’s expense.

We heard that she was supposed to have moved that entire office to the new legal law center at Cummings Way complex located in Woburn, the same move that the Middlesex Registry of Probate had to make two years ago, but Maria pissed and moaned and refused to move! Why should she? She only shows up and comes into work once a month if that so why should she have someone keeping tabs on her? Where is her boss the Secretary of State when all of this is happening? Crickets!

It’s time for Maria Curtatone to leave office. “It’s time for Change!” My motto from the very beginning was to be getting rid of two Curtatone’s for the price of one! So stay tuned!
