The SomerViva Office of Immigrant Affairs, Alianza America, and the Sanctuary City Steering Committee invite residents to a community forum on Wednesday, May 1, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the East Somerville Community School, 50 Cross St. Participants will talk about the conditions driving migration to the U.S., how to counter xenophobia and racism with hope and welcoming spaces, and how to best support migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees in Somerville and the region.
