Somerville Lions Club Gets Visitation From Country of Luxembourg

By William Tauro

There was fun night and a cool visit at the Somerville Lion’s Club meeting at the Mount Vernon this past Tuesday night.

The president of the Luxembourg Lions Club Jochen Richter paid the Somerville Lions Club a visit and gave his well wishes on behalf of all his members in Luxembourg.

Luxembourg is a small European country, surrounded by Belgium, France and Germany. It’s mostly rural, with dense Ardennes forest and nature parks in the north, rocky gorges of the Mullerthal region in the east and the Moselle river valley in the southeast. Its capital, Luxembourg City, is famed for its fortified medieval old town perched on sheer cliffs.

What a cool night and happy that we’re on the map in Luxenberg!
