Somerville News Weekly’s Special Person of the Week:Dan Mosher

By Frank Santangelo

Meet this week’s “Special Person of the Week:Dan Mosher

Dan is a lifelong Somerville resident of Somerville. He is a third generation Irish Italian immigrant from a family who’s ancestors came to this country many years ago to find a better life and who call Somerville their home.
He grew up in this city and graduated from Somerville High School. Dan worked very hard throughout the years and opened his own business. He is the owner/operator of Lexington Luxury Sedans for over the past twenty years.
Over the years, he’s worked with many Nobel Prize recipients such as Peter Wolf, the J Geils Band, the former governor of Colorado Roy Romer as well as many other famous clients from MIT and Harvard.

Dan told us that his favorite celebrities customers and dear friends are a former assistant chief of staff to Former President John F. Kennedy, local comedians Lenny Clark, Steve Sweeney and Jimmy Tingle.
Dan Mosher is also living proof of how a young man from an immigrant family who’s family migrated to Somerville back in the day to make a better life worked out as he worked very hard and made a great name of himself!

Our hats are off to his true Somerville spirit!

We here at the Somerville News Weekly salute you for everything that you do to make Somerville a better place.
Congratulations!

  1. Dan is a class act, really fortunate to have met him when we visited Boston. Personalized and detailed tours from a real native of the area included in the price of your cab rides. We called him for rides repeatedly over the several days we were in town and his personality improved our overs experience immensely. Thanks Dan
