With snow piling up to the gate, this past Friday work has halted at the Somerville Snowfarm at the old incinerator location thats located on Linwood Street in Somerville.

According to reports, the problem that the Snowmelter is not big enough to handle the workload and meet the demands of the Somerville snow removal efforts.

According to sources, the representative for Snowmelter who sold the $200,000plus machinery to the City the Somerville allegedly misrepresented the capability of the machine which infuriated Mayor Curtatone who demanded that the city return the Snow Dragon to the manufacturer in exchange for a larger municipal type Snowmelter.
