The city replaced my meter with a new one. They told me they had to change it because there was a problem with the old one. After they changed it, I received a very high bill.
I called the city to complain, and they told me that before they had only been making estimates and that I owed a difference, and that the next bill would be lower because it would reflect the actual usage. But the bill never went down after that. Recently, I paid an even higher amount.
