Obituary
Nancy A. (Musto) Mears – Of Somerville, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, November 30, 2025. She was 86 years old.

Born, raised, and educated in Somerville, Nancy was the devoted daughter of the late James and Selena (Joseph) Musto.

Nancy was a stylish, vibrant woman with a signature elegance all her own. She always had her hair perfectly done, her nails beautifully polished, and her makeup placed with care and precision. A true fashionista, she loved to shop! Whether she was searching for the perfect new outfit or finding something special for her home.

Nancy enjoyed a long and successful career as a legal secretary at Goodwin & Procter, where she worked faithfully until the age of 75. She was deeply proud of her work, her professionalism, and the relationships she built over the years.

She also loved to walk. For decades, neighbors could spot Nancy strolling up and down Highland Avenue, enjoying the day, greeting familiar faces, and taking in the rhythm of the neighborhood.

Beloved wife of the late James Mears. Loving cousin to Nicole Ryan and her children Kia Ryan, Kyle Hodge, Kylee Hodge, Kyla Hodge, Mia Miller and Christian O’Malley all of Somerville. She is also lovingly survived by her dear friends.

A private burial will take place with her being laid to rest with her beloved family at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
