A Thankful Month!!

When we are ready to wear out the word THANKS, something always occurs. It is set in tone on Nov 1 as we think of Thanksgiving. But, Reality thanks came in 2 events – an MHS 1965 Reunion with Sr Class PR and our fine Fr Maxwell from St. Joseph Church. Father mentioned a holy Spirit that was in our attendees that brought them to reunite.

I was happy to be part of the planning of the Reunion and the Annual Lions Charity Turkey Raffle – we serve MASS EYE RESEARCH, diabetes and disaster aid. Neither event could happen or be enjoyed without the giving of guests and the
location, food providers. Thanks to them, MHS gave monies to a Yearbook Fund and the Lions
monies will go to Mass Eye Research and our MHS Scholarship. We are thankful for the fine food BY HO WIN PALACE and ALFREDO’S OF Medford. The Public is welcome to attend any Lions 3rd Monday meeting at Avellino’s at 6:30. We are welcoming new members into this 106 year old, great International Charity Club.
