Good job by Residents, Homeowners, former Public Workers, Commission members, Firemen, Councilor Scarpelli, and a Union Rep. These are just a few who were vocal at a well attended Community gathering at the Elks in Medford.
The topic was just plain info and defining issues in the City. We all know times and situations change, but I think all who attended want a healthy steering and honesty, ideas with a touch of traditional value…all why we stay in the City. Items information on Our Charter review, School news, Housing, Data stats, and Dept News were given. But, to me, who has presented some issues and comments,suggestions to our City Council, saw after many years (day of Penta, Marks, Pompeo) a cohesive group hearing together, gaining Info, sitting next to strangers at some seats and saying Hello. Nice.
CHANGING venues, This was a feast week for St Rita for the “impossible”…regardless of faith, SaInts have to be proven by tbe Catholic Church…coincidental to me same week that maybe by earnest ideas and people…a bit of impossible could come to Medford – Common sense ideas, solutions offeredbyCommonpeople,Concerns and help MAYBE SOMEDAY given to taxpayers after what I see as a few disparaging years.
