“Whether it’s planting a pollinator garden, advocating to decarbonize new construction in our area, recycling,
or investing in sustainability initiatives, every day the City and Somerville community work together to help protect our planet,” said Mayor Ballantyne. “This year’s SustainaVille Week is especially exciting as community members can review the City’s updated
Climate Forward plan that will help us maintain a strong, healthy community in the face of climate change while simultaneously reducing climate pollution and our dependence on fossil fuels. I look forward to seeing everyone to celebrate what we have achieved
and inspire the hard work ahead of us as we continue fighting climate change.”
