Our sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Terence “Terry” Quirk on his passing.

Terence “Terry” Quirk was a wonderful person who will be sadly missed here both in Somerville and Medford.

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Terence “Terry” Quirk, 77, born on February 2nd, 1945 and passed away on February 14th, 2022. We will remember him forever.

Beloved husband of the late Loretta Quirk (Groves); Loving father of Dawn R. Quirk and her husband Christian Buerkle (of Warner, New Hampshire). Devoted son of the late James Francis and Edith Quirk of Somerville. Beloved brother of Martha (Quirk) Wilder and her husband, Charles (of Reading), and the late James, William, Michael, Daniel and Anthony Quirk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his best friend John Crowell.

Terry is a U.S. Army Veteran, a longtime member and supporter of AA in Arlington and New Bedford. He drove a Somerville cab for over forty years where he developed cherished, meaningful friendships that he considered part of his family. He was always searching for ways to support others by giving them a ride, exchanging stories, or supporting their journey to recovery.

Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

  1. Quirk family – Good folks-I knew Danny Michael Terry & Martha- they all grew up on Cherry St- have many memories- especially Martha with tears in eyes on Nov22 1963- @ Somerville High – Danny, a real good baseball player(outfielder)& Mikey who was sharp minded-God bless them all
