Several dozen co-workers and friends of Jon Bernstein feted him earlier this evening at Avelino’s in Medford. Jon, who I coach with in Little League, is retiring after a 27 year career at Elizabeth Peabody House and returning to his native Charlotte, North Carolina. Jon epitomizes commitment, dedication and service to the young people of our Community. Just an all-around great human being.
