Somerville Remembering Allan Brown

Our sincere condolences go out to the Brown Family for the loss of Allan Brown.

Allan was a very well liked and highly respected member of our community here in the city of Somerville.

Allan is also remembered by many of us here in the city from when he owed and operated the former Hydrometric Transmission Sales and Service shop on Joy Street in Somerville.

Allan Brown was a very nice person and a true gentleman in every meaning of the word and he will be sadly missed here in Somerville.

Obituary of Allan Brown:

BROWN Allan, of Medford, long time business owner in Somerville and employee of Homeland Security, October 26, 2017. Beloved husband of Linda (Botelho) Brown. Devoted son of Paul Coletti and the late Janet (Getty) Coletti. Loving father of Kim Brown and Erick Bergstrom and great-grandfather of Erick and Breann Bergstrom. Brother of Steven Brown, Paul Coletti and Cheryl Coletti McKenne. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Donovan-Aufiero Funeral Home, 140 Otis St., CAMBRIDGE Tuesday at 9:45 A.M followed by a Rite of Christian Burial in St. Raphael’s Church, Medford at 11:00 A.M.

Visiting Monday 4:00-8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Allan’s memory to St. Francis de Sales Building Fund, 303 Bunker Hill St., Charlestown 02129. For guest book visit donovanaufierofuneralhome.
